It was closed in 1952, although a small section leading to Redesmouth station stayed open until 1963. WebPhotos of Northumberland Railways - Wansbeck Valley (Wanney) Line. These photos were taken on the Wansbeck Valley line more commonly known as the Wanney Line. WebAug 3, 2024 · Does anybody know if there are any sections of the old Wannie line train route which are suitable for a bit of XC cycling? Especially near the Morpeth end.
