WebNo, it does not happen all the time. I only notice it when I am starting to go faster and then slowing down again. To me it sounds like it is coming from the front right side of the car. I can't describe it any better except that it sounds like something is dragging under the car. I know my brakes need work but my husband does not think it is ... WebIf anyone out there has the same issue and is out of warranty, you can rehook the cable yourself and probably zip tie it more securely. I wouldn't recommend bending the hook further after replacing the cable, since it would very likely crimp and damage the cable. I'm hoping they resolved the issue on my 2014 GTI.
