WebThe GreenWorks Hard 2 Recycle event was held on July 16, 2024 in Buncombe County. More than 400 cars came through the event. We collected 19,780 pounds of materials, such as TVs, scrap metal, electronics and batteries. We also collected one semi-tractor trailer full of styrofoam. In total, 272 volunteers completed 45 litter cleanup projects
