Used to be, but at the end of Wrath, they really hammered in a lot of things, including nerfing blood dps, making blood the defacto tank, and Frost was made the DW spec. You certainly CAN play Frost with a 2h, but the talents do support DW better. I say, play what makes you happy my guy!

All of your defensive stats are void at that point. Also, breaking out of CC increases your DPS when some other race just has to eat it and sit there. Dreanei heal is worthless and it's easy to get enough hit. U get more offencive talents cos u dont need 6 talents in frost tree but the itemisation for TH wep and capping armor penetration on 100% is poor and not as good as DW is.
