I get the "File in use" message and click on Notify and after a minute or two, I get a message saying it's available for editing and when I click Read-Write, it says that the file is locked for editing and asking me to click on Notify. Crazy and microsoft developers are something else! lol
WebJan 2, 2024 · Okay, so I solved this today. Apparently it had to do with a corrupted temp file related to the workbook. All that needed to be done was to go into the folder view options, unchecking"Hide protected operating system files" and then removing the '~$ FileName .xlsm' file.
