That is, there are no properties of the mind that have any overlap with the properties of brain. Thought and matter are not similar in any way. WebHowever, the Wikipedia page on Property Dualism identifies it with a couple of the theories I considered. One of these is the solution I argued for in my thesis, which is Emergentism, the idea that minds are physical things with emergent mental properties. An emergent property is a property that happens only at a certain level of complexity.
